Cotulla may be a town in and also the seat of los angeles Salle County, Texas, u. S.. The population was three,614 at the 2000 census. In 1868, Polish migrator Joseph Cotulla arrived in La Salle County and eventually established an outsized husbandry operation. When learning that the International-Great Northern Railroad supposed to get tracks in La Salle County, he worked to determine the city of Cotulla. In 1881, he given one hundred twenty acres of his land to the railroad, and 1882, a depot was designed there. In 1883, the city was granted a Post workplace. Constant year, Cotulla became the seat by special election.
