Coors Events Center is Associate in Nursing eleven,064-seat multi-purpose arena on the Boulder main field of the University of Colorado. It opened in 1979, and is home to the Colorado Buffaloes public toilet and women’s basketball groups and also the volleyball team.It was erstwhile known as the Colorado University Events Center and was renamed in Gregorian calendar month 1990 once the Coors production Company, that Coors paid $5 million to the university.
The building is Associate in Nursing eight-sided concrete structure, with 2 levels (the higher one being smaller) on top of ground and also the rest below. The building is single-tiered within. It replaced the Balch Fieldhouse, the present home of the indoor track and field team situated directly adjacent to Folsom Field.The Center was improved within the summer of 2010 with the addition of a replacement audio system and video screens for replays. A replacement observe facility was opened in 2011 for volleyball and basketball, with new offices for coaches.
