Detail InformationEdit

Situated in the southern foothills of Monjardín and on the Way of Saint James, this town forms a pentagon. On the highest part there are remains of a castle, whilst the town is built around the Church of San Andrés. Only the old sandstone walls remain from the medieval site of the castle, as well as the old cistern, inside a house with a vaulted ceiling. The parish church is an interesting construction. A magnificent example of Romanesque architecture, with the façade as the main element.
