Colonsay may be a city within the rural municipality of Colonsay No. 342, Saskatchewan, within the province of Saskatchewan. Colonsay is found on route sixteen running east-west in central Saskatchewan close to the intersection with route two. Colonsay derived its name from the archipelago Scottish island Colonsay Colonsay & District Sports Centre was opened in 2006 following fund raising efforts by the community moreover as funding initiatives like the inexperienced Municipal Investment Fund, a venture of the govt.
