Coldspring may be a town in San Jacinto County, Texas, us. The population was 691 at the 2000 census. It’s the seat of San Jacinto County that is known as when the stream that traverses it and shares its name with the Battle that gave TX its independence. Coldspring had developed into a active seat city by 1915, however disaster affected March thirty, 1915 once the picket courthouse burned, therefore removing the economic foundation of the city. Plans for this courthouse were created, and therefore the building was completed in 1918. Thereafter, the townsfolk affected their buildings close to the new courthouse at its gift location.
