Coit Tower, additionally referred to as the Lillian Coit Memorial Tower, could be a 210-foot (64 m) tower within the Telegraph Hill neighborhood of San Francisco, California. The tower, within the city’s Pioneer Park, was inbuilt 1933 victimization actress Hitchcock Coit’s legacy to beautify town of San Francisco; at her death in 1929 Coit left common fraction of her estate to town for civic change of state.
