Clinton could be a city in Worcester County, Massachusetts, us. Clinton became atiny low industrial mill city, mistreatment the Nashua stream as a supply for water power. Railroads came to the city to serve this trade, together with the Beantown, Clinton, Fitchburg and New Bedford Railroad (Fitchburg Branch of the American state Railroad), the Central Massachusetts Railroad, and therefore the Worcester, Nashua and Rochester Railroad (the last 2 later united into the Beantown and Maine Railroad). By 1890, Clinton was noted for its producing of carpets and plain-woven wire.
