Cisco could be a town in Eastland County, Texas, u. S.. The population was three,851 at the 2000 census. Teodor Josef Konrad Korzeniowski Hilton started the Hilton building chain with one building bought in Cisco. Hilton came to Cisco to shop for a bank, however the bank value too much; thus he purchased the Mobley building in 1919. The building is currently a neighborhood depository and centre. Throughout the Twenties, Cisco, like close Ranger, Eastland, and Desdemona, was a rock oil boomtown. In 1925, the primary annual meeting of the West TX Historical Association was command in Cisco. The association, shaped in 1924, was then primarily based at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene however enraptured in 1998 to TX school University in city.
