The Church of Evangelist and therefore the Epiphany is associate degree Episcopal congregation placed at 330 South thirteenth Street (between Spruce and Pine Streets), Center town, urban center, Pennsylvania. It’s a part of the bishopric of Pennsylvania. The church was shaped in 1898 as a results of the merger of St. Luke’s Church (1839) and therefore the Church of the Epiphany (1834). Epiphany’s building was sold-out, and therefore the congregations consolidated at St. Luke’s location.
Today the congregation stands at 278 sturdy. As associate degree urban parish, it reflects a various mixture of young and old; straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered; single, partnered and married. A spread of ethnic and spiritual backgrounds contributes to the church’s name for being open and hospitable. The present minister is that the Rev.
