Detail InformationEdit

The church complex. The church dedicated to the Most-Holy Theotokos was erected as a Greek Catholic church in 1761, later, in 1788; it was converted into a Catholic church. The bell tower was probably erected at the same time as the chapel. In mid 19th c, the cult of the Holy Virgin Mary of Chlopice spread, therefore a rectangular chapel was added to the bell tower. On the southeastern side of the church, an altar was erected probably in the 60’s of the 20th c, during the complex’s general renovation. The altar is an interesting reference to the style of the bell tower-chapel.
