Church of the Holy Innocents could be a historic Roman church at 279 E. 17th St. In Flatbush, Brooklyn, New York, New York. The church was in-built 1923 within the Late Gothic Revival vogue. It’s designed of granite with rock trim. It concists of a tall, clerestoried area with roof, lower flat-roofed facet aisles, transepts, chancel, and a tall tower. Hooked up to the church could be a residence (1923) and college (1914). It had been listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
The organ at Holy Innocents Church was in-built 1922 by the Ernest M. Skinner Organ Company of Beantown, Massachusetts as their music three90 3 manuals, 33 stops, 32 ranks. The instrument was remodeled in 2005 by the Peragallo wind instrument Company of Patterson, NJ. The present Director of Music is Dr. Alfred E. Cresci, himself a 1968 graduate of Holy Innocents college. Dr. Cresci has been often attending the church since 1964, and is alone answerable for getting $360,000.00 grant from the Joseph G. Bradley Charitable Foundation of Bryn Mawr, PA.
The grant for the historic grant crystal rectifier to the church turning into the primary within the Roman Catholic bishopric of borough to be classified as a member of the National Historic written account.
