China gorge could be a former settlement in Plumas County, California. It lay at Associate in Nursing elevation of 5610 feet (1710 m). China gorge is found five.5 miles (8.9 km) south of greenbacks Lake. It still appeared on maps as of 1897.
A smeltery for the Friedrich Engels mine was settled at China gorge.
