Chicken is that the outpost for the forty Mile mining district. There ar still active gold mines during this space. Enough gold was mined here to create it worthy to haul immense gold dredges to the current remote location. There ar still many inactive gold dredges within the Chicken space. Chicken may be a census-designated place (CDP) in Southeast Fairbanks Census space, Alaska, u. S.. Chicken may be a community supported on gold mining and is one in all the few extant gold rush cities in Alaska.
