Chelopech is a village in the western part of Bulgaria. It is the only village in the Chelopech Municipality, Sofia Province. The Chelopech Municipality includes only one village – Chelopech, which is located on the Southern side of the Balkan Mountains, on the main road from the capital Sofia to Bourgas. It borders the municipalities of Zlatitsa, Chavdar, Mirkovo and Etropole. The major railroad connecting Sofia and Burgas passes through the village.
