This small shop in Panaji is one of the few exclusive chaat eateries which has all the favourites at very reasonable prices. The taste, though, differs on the quantity of people requesting a bite of the same. But you can ask the staff at this fast food-style outlet to do things just the way you like it…meetha, teekha, extra chutney. All the chaats range between Rs `25-40, and they also have a few cold and hot beverages. Walk in at any time and see the place packed with young and old customers having their fill of Aloo Chaat, Aloo Tikki, Cutlet, Khasta Khachori, Dahi Vada, Sev Puri, Khandvi and Dahi Papdi Chaat. Their Dhokla is a hot selling variety — close to the original Gujarati version. Chat Street comes as a big relief for North Indian tourists for whom chaats are so dear.
