The Charles and charm Parker home is a house within the Lynnhurst neighborhood of metropolis, Minnesota southeast of Lake Harriet. It had been designed by notable native architects composer, Feick & Elmslie within the grassland college vogue.
Architecture critic Larry Millett calls it one in all composer and Elmslie’s greatest homes, citing the broad gabled roof, the groupings of windows, the aspect structure, and therefore the detail encompassing the entry. The doorway includes a fretsawn arch and a frieze higher than the door, with beams and a try of pendants on either aspect. St. George Grant Elmslie designed the leaded glass windows. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
