Chapultepec Castle is found on high of Chapultepec Hill. The name Chapultepec stems from the Náhuatl word chapoltepēc which suggests “at the grasshopper’s hill”. It’s settled within the middle of Chapultepec Park in Ciudad de Mexico at a height of two,325 meters (7,628 ft) on top of water level. The location of hill was a sacred place for Aztecs, and also the buildings atop it have served many functions throughout its history; together with that of academy, Imperial residence, Presidential home, observatory, and presently, the Museo Nacional Diamond State Historia.
