It is a wonderful palace with a beautiful renaissance façade from the fifteenth century. Nowadays it houses the magnificent ‘Maeght’ art Gallery.
The first few years of the gallery were a major artistic focal point of the city with leading exhibitions by Miro, Tapies, Braque, Kandinsky, Saura, Chillida, Manolo Valdes and Palazuelo, amongst many others.
