Celina may be a town in and therefore the seat of Mercer County, Ohio, u. S.. The population was ten,303 at the 2000 census. Celina is set on the western shores of Grand Lake St. Marys. Celina was supported in 1834 in a very quaggy, jungle that had to be drained and cleared before it might be settled. What remained was grade city enclosed by wealthy farm fields. Once one amongst the city’s instauration fathers Bill Sell was traveling through the big apple state to induce the town plat lithographed, he stumbled on the city of town set on the sting of Onondaga Lake close to Syracuse.
