The Cedar Guard Station No. 1019 on Illinois depression Road in Siskiyou National Forest, close to Cave Junction, Oregon, was inbuilt 1933 by the Civilian Conservation Corps. It had been listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 for its design. It had been designed by Forest Service architects in rustic vogue. The listing enclosed 2 tributary buildings, one lodging and a garage, on a 10-acre (4.0 ha) area.
It is a one-story wood frame building on a sett foundation, with a focused chimney. The outside walls were of cedar bark, “with verges and overhang boxed by quarter-round cedar logs, bark on.”
