Detail InformationEdit

The museum and the statute are devoted to the Nazi victims who were murdered in Bełżec. The museum was established at the place of the former death camp (1941-1942). The ceremonial opening took place in 2004. In the museum one will find an exhibition room, office, lecture theatre and a contemplation room (the building looks like a long train). There is also a poem pleced in a wall and a tablet with a list of victims. The whole place round the museum is graveled with cinder; there are a few, old oak trees.
