Changlang is a town that is located in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in the Changlang district. The place is unique and many different influences can be seen here. There are over 50 dialects that are spoken in the town and the culture and traditions of the people in Changlang are very different from the rest of the state. The town is a located in a scenic valley and one can see many pristine views from here. The lush green surroundings are another feature of the town of Changlang. There is an old cemetery that is located in a place called Jairampur and this is worth visiting while travelling to the town of Changlang. One has to be careful while visiting the place as some regions are known for militant activities. One of the other places of interest in the area is Namdampa National Park. There are many species of fauna and flora that are present in the park and this is one of the main tourist sites in the area. One can witness many festivals in the place and some of the main ones are the Moh Mol festival, Pongtu festival and Shapawang Yang Manu. The place is also renowned for its cuisine and sampling the local cuisine is a must while travelling here. The town of Changlang is situated amidst greenery and the conditions are always temperate. Summers are mild and this is an ideal time to visit the place. The place gets rainfall for a brief period during the monsoon season and light showers can be expected throughout the year. Winters are cold and one has to bring protective clothing while travelling to the town of Changlang.

Dubare Elephant Camp is located on the banks of River Cauvery in the district of Kodagu in Karnataka.The Karnataka Forest Department has about 150 elephants in various camps throughout the state and Dubare has always been an historically important camp. The elephants for the famous Mysore Dassehra festival were trained at the Dubare elephant camp. The elephants in the Dubare Camp are now used to provide the tourists with ‘an intimate experience with elephants’. Here, a visitor can spend hours simply watching the elephants and of course, learning more about them. A trained naturalist/expert is at hand to explain the various aspects of elephant history, ecology and biology. The visitor can not only observe and learn but also participate in various activities involving these elephants. Go for a short – day trip to visit ‘must see’ places around Dubare, like Abbi falls (8 km from Madikeri). Sunset lovers can savour the scenic beauty of the setting sun at Raja’s seat. Bangalore International Airport is the major airport nearby. Bangalore is about 228 km away from Dubare and it costs about Rs 3,200 by taxi. Bangalore is well connected to most of the major airports in India and abroad.

By Train : Nearest rail head is Mysore, which is 99 km away. This station is connected to Bangalore and other local cities in the state. Taxi charges from Mysore to Dubare are about Rs 1,200.

By Bus : Many state owned buses are available to reach Dubare from nearby cities. KSRTC buses from Bangalore to Dubare costs about Rs 350 and buses from Mysore to Bandipur costs Rs 150 approximately.

Dindigul (Tiṇṭukkal) is a city in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is the administrative headquarters of the Dindigul district. Dindigul is located 420 km (260 mi) southwest of the state capital, Chennai and 100 km (62 mi) away from Tiruchirappalli.The Dindigul Fort or Dindigul Malai Kottai is a 17th-century hill fort, built by Madurai Nayak situated in the town. Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan the fort was of strategic importance. In 1799 it went to the control of the British East India Company during the Polygar Wars. There is an abandoned temple on its peak apart from few cannons. In modern times, the fort is maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India and is open to tourists.There are several places of interest in Dindigul District. Palani hills with the famous temple of Lord Muruga Dhandayuthapani Temple, Begampur Mosque, Sirumalai Hill resort, Parapalar Dam, Varathamanathi dam, Mariamman temple and Nadupatti Anjaneyar temple are places of tourist interest in the district. An attraction of this hill station is the Kurinji flowers that bloom once in twelve years.

By Air : The nearest airport is located at Madurai and it is around 66 km from the town. There are taxis that are available from the Madurai airport and they are the best option to reach the town. They charge around Rs 700 for the trip. The nearest international airport is located at Chennai and there are frequent train services from Chennai to Dindigul.

By Train : Dindigul railway station is well connected to the rest of the state and there are frequent trains that arrive from places such as Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore and other parts of Tamil Nadu. Trains are the easiest option to reach Dindigul and they are inexpensive as well. Trains from Chennai to Dindigul are available on a daily basis and they cost around Rs 250 for a non A/C three tier compartment. A/C tickets are more expensive. However, they are comfortable and an easy way to travel. There are auto rickshaws and taxis that are available from the railway station to the city. Auto Rickshaws are a cheap and easy option. Digha is a town that is situated in the state of West Bengal, in the district of East Midnapore. It is a popular beach town and there are different activities that you can engage in the area. Many tourists from nearby areas flock to the place during the peak tourist season. The entire stretch of the Digha Beach is lined with casuarina trees and the whole area is extremely scenic. There are a few beaches that are located nearby as well and these are relatively untouched and clean. The Udaipur Beach and the Shankarpur Beach are located in close proximity and these are worth visiting as they have not yet been affected by tourism. If you are interested in activities such as fishing and angling you can travel to the town of Junpat, which is situated 40 kilometers away. There are several fishing spots, which are located in the area. It is also worth visiting the Marine Aquarium and Research Center. Some of the other tourist places in the region include Subarnareskha River, Talsari, and Lord Shiva Temple. Mandarmani Beach is a small stretch that is an up and coming tourist destination. The Subarnareskha Delta is a good place for picnics and the river drains into the sea at this point.

Dibru-Saikhowa National Park is a national wildlife park in Tinsukia, Assam. Dibru-Saikhowa National Park has two entry points at Guijan Ghat and Saikhowa Ghat which are easily accessed from Tinsukia – the nearest town. Laika and Dhadia are two forest villages that are present at the periphery inside the Park. Dibru-Saikhowa National Park is situated about 42 kms from the Dibrugarh town and 12 kms north of Tinsukia town. This national park is located on the border of Dibrugarh and Tinsukia district and covers an area of 350 sq kms. It is a biosphere reserve and has an average altitude of 118 m. The park is surrounded by the mighty Brahmaputra and Lohit rivers on the north and Dibru River on the south. The hills of Arunachal Pradesh on the north and the Patkai hills on the south also bound the park.The park lies near the Brahmaputra River too, thus picture perfect moments can be captured through your camera during your visit to the park. You can mainly spot feral horses in Dibru Saikhova National Park, and these are horses which were once domesticated and then let out into the wild. Elephants, tigers, water buffalos, gibbons, capped langurs, pelicans, white bellied herons, Brahmini ducks, bar headed geese, fishing eagles and river dolphins can also be spotted in this national park.
