Prachi Valley is a picturesque destination that is situated in the state of Orissa. The valley is a popular tourist destination and there are several places of interest that are situated here. The Prachi River passes through the valley and this is an important part of the landscape. Prachi Valley is home to many ancient temples which has strong connections with the great epics. Ramayana and Mahabharata. Temple enshrining Lord Shiva in Amreshvara has a strong link with Ramayana. Apart from this, temples of ancient significance like Sobhaneswara Temple, Pidh Temple, Chamuda Devi Temple and Grameswara Temple are present close to each other. The confluence of three rivers Prachi, Saraswati along with Manikarnika, commonly known as ‘Manikarnika Tirth’ is present in the close vicinity of these temples. Thousands of pilgrims come to this place to take a holy dip in the sacred water of Manikarnika Tirth during moonless night or ‘Amavasya’. By Air : If you are planning to travel by air, the only option is to take a flight to the Bhubaneswar Airport and reach the valley using taxis. The airport is connected to places such as Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Bagdogra. A few airline operators offer services from these cities to Bhubaneswar. Taxis are available from the airport and they are plentiful. Taxis cost around Rs 7 per kilometer.

By Train : The city of Bhubaneswar is the best option for rail travelers as well. The place is well connected to many Indian cities and these include Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and New Delhi. Trains are affordable and they cost are extremely comfortable as well. Second class sleeper tickets from Delhi to Bhubaneswar cost around Rs 500.

Prabhas Giri town is located in Uttar Pradesh in Kaushambi district, about sixty kilometres from Allahabad. The town is an important pilgrimage centre for the Jain community and attracts visitors throughout the year. The main attraction for the Jain community is the Bhagwan Padma Prabhu Temple named after Bhagwan Padma Prabhu, the sixth Jain Tirthankar. Prabhas Giri is also a sacred place for the Hindus. It is said that Lord Krishna spent the last days on earth here in this town. The town also has several caves to its credit. The walls of the caves are written over in the ancient Brahmi script and so they are of great historical interest. You can combine a visit to Prabhas Giri with the nearby regions of Kara and Manjhanpur. Kara is home to several Hindu temples including Sheetla Mata temple, Chhetrapal Bhairav temple, Hanuman temple and Kaleshwar Mahadev temple. Sheetla Mata temple is situated on the banks of the river Ganga and is considered to be the biggest shaktipeeth of all the 51 shaktipeeths of the Goddess. By Air : Flights cannot be taken directly to Prabhas Giri, as the town does not have an airport. You can take a flight to the nearest airport in Varanasi, which his well connected by flights to the cities of Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi and Bangalore. Flight fares to Varanasi will cost around Rs 3000 to 4000 for a one way trip.

By Train : The town of Prabhas Giri does not house a railway station, and the nearest railway station is located in the city of Allahabad. You can take a train to the station in Allahabad, and from there can take a bus to Prabhas Giri. The railway station in Allahabad is well connected to many cities in the country, including Mumbai, Pune, Varanasi, Jhansi, Gwalior and Nagpur. Trains will also be available to the city of New Delhi and to Kalka, near Shimla. Pugar is a town in the Nagapattinam district in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It was once a flourishing ancient port city known as Kaveri poompattinam, which for a while served as the capital of the early Chola kings in Ancient Tamil country Tamizhagam. Puhar is located near the end point of the Kaveri river, aside the sea coast. it is mentioned in the Periplus of Ereythrean sea. it is now established by marine archeological research conducted by the National institute of marine archeology, Goa that much of the town was washed away by progressive erosion and a tsunami around 300 BC. submerged wharves and several meter lengths of pier walls have excavated in recent times have corroborated the literary references to Poompugar. It was rebuilt several times after that. Ancient Pottery dating back to the 4th century BC have been discovered off shore by marine archeologists east of this town.

Pilibhit is a city and district in Uttar Pradesh. Pilibhit is the north-eastern most district of Bareilly division, situated in the Rohilkhand region of the sub-Himalayan Plateau belt on the boundary of Nepal, known for the origin of river Gomati and one of the most forest-rich areas in North India. Pilibhit was once known as Hafizabad, derived from the name of the great Rohella leader of the area Hafiz Rahmat Khan, but eventually it took its present name from a nearby village. Pilibhit has been geographic and political cynosure as it is the only forest area amid the 22 districts and the only district that has an international border in Harit Pradesh, which is proposed to be carved out of Uttar Pradesh.

A town council, Phek occupies southeastern portion of Nagaland. Bordered by Zunheboto in north, Kohima in west, Myanmar in east and Manipur in south, the district was carved out from Kohima in 1973. The city acquired its name from the word “Phekrekedze” which means a watch tower. Like other cities of Nagaland, this too is inhabited by tribal population, with Pochurys and Chakhesangs forming the majority. More than 70% of the land at Phek is covered with evergreen forests. Taxis can be hired from outside the airport and they cost around Rs 7 per kilometer.
