Moti Bagh or Motibaug is a Cricket stadium placed in Vadodara (estwhile Baroda), Gujarat. the bottom kind part of the Lukshmi Vilas Palace construction – a spawling 700-acre (2.8 km2) advanced in the heart of the city. The Palace and the stadium, earlier belonged to the previous rulers of Baroda and therefore the Patrons of Cricket in Baroda The Gaekwad. The Palace is now Used for many Events and Occasions. it’s also the Building for the ‘Gaekwad Baroda Golf Club’. The Motibaug Ground is Claimed joined of the Oldest Cricket Grounds in Asia.

Motibaug Palace was built as a guesthouse to compliment the Lukshmi Villas Palace, which is in-fact an older monument than the famed Lukshmi Villas Palace itself. It was built initially to house all the British Architects & Engineers who built Lukshmi Villas Palace. It is said that Motibaug Palace was also the residence to HH Pratapsinhrao Gaekwad in Year 1950-60’s. This 15,000 sq ft home has now been converted to become the Main Club-House of Gaekwad Baroda Golf Club (GBGC). Likewise Motibaug, there were also many more small Palaces in Grounds which were built by Past Maharaja’s which included Vishram Baug, Mastu Baug and Chiman Baug.
