Detail InformationEdit

The castle arose in 1559, built by the knight of St. John’s monastery – baron Jerzy Prószkowski. The interior of the castle is in gothic and renaissance style. Above the entrance to the castle, there is a board with the coat of arms of baron and date of building the castle. In a groundfloor room on the western side, there is a gothic lancet portal, probably from XVth century. In old times the castle was a shelter for mercantile trips through Głubczyce. It creates a unique atmosphere of the place.
