Castello di Godego is a town and comune with 6.329 inhabitants in the Province of Treviso, Italy, Veneto region.
The current mayor of the city is Angelo Civiero.
The historians believe that the name “Godego” is related to the Goths, the ancient German tribe that invaded North Italy during the last years of Western Roman Empire.
Remains of an ancient town (Le Motte) can be found on the boundaries with the town of San Martino di Lupari (province of Padua).
Close to the Muson river, is located one of the oldest catholic church of the area, San Pietro church built in the year 400 CE.
