The Cary Building at 105-107 Chambers Street, extending on Church Street to Reade Street, within the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan, ny town, was inbuilt 1856-1857 and was designed by Gamaliel King and John Kellum (“King & Kellum”) within the Italian Renaissance revival vogue, with the iron facade provided by Daniel D. Badger’s beaux arts Iron Work. The five-story twin-facaded building was made for William H. Cary’s Cary, Howard & Sanger, a dry merchandise firm.
Although engineered as an advert structure, the Cary Building is currently residential.
