The Carbon County Historical Society and depository is found sixty three miles from the Northeast entrance to Yellowstone River parkland at the bottom of scenic Beartooth main road. Housed within the 1909 historic Labor Temple in downtown Red Lodge, Montana the depository is home to the Greenough and Linderman rodeo collections, Liver Eatin’ J. E. Johnston info, Waples family gun assortment, associate interactive coal and arduous rock mine exhibit, the Carbon County archives, and far a lot of. The employees assists with family family tree and historic analysis. Summer hours: Mon through Sat, 10 a.m. To 6 p.m. And Sunday from eleven a.m. To 3 p.m. Winter hours: Tuesday via Friday – ten a.m. – 5 p.m., Sat – eleven a.m. – 3 p.m. And closed Sundays and Mondays.
