Caraguatatuba, widely known by its abbreviation Caragua, is a city in the eastern part of the southern state of Sao Paulo in Brazil. The name comes from the Tupi language and one of the words includes tuba meaning many. Caraguatatuba is the largest city of Sao Paulo north shore. Caragua is located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Serra do Mar, where they were born the main rivers that feed on the beaches and home to the Parque Estadual da Serra do Mar.
