Canitas DE Felipe Pescador is one among the fifty eight municipalities within the state of Zacatecas, Mexico. It’s placed within the northern a part of Zacatecas and is finite by the municipalities of Río Grande, Villa DE Cos, and Fresnillo. The municipality covers a complete expanse of 482 sq. Kilometres (186 sq mi).
The first inhabitants of the Cañitas DE Felipe Pescador region were the Huichol. In 1918, the region became inhabited with farmers. In 1921, governor Donato Moreno granted a motion to de jure fund the Canitas region with the confiscation of haciendas as associate ejido, a system of communal land. This result in the increase of the region to became associate freelance Congregation of the Municipality of Fresnillo.
In 1921, the primary faculty was based with the name of Carlos the Jackal A. Carrillo, that placed special attention to environmental education. That very same year the terminal was put in within the town of Canitas, and also the community of los angeles Colorada was moved to the region.
