As of the census of 2000, there have been twelve,790 people, 4,489 households, and 3,366 families residing within the town. The population density was three,390.0 individuals per area unit (1,309.9/km²). There have been four,743 housing units at a mean density of one,257.1 per area unit (485.8/km²). The racial makeup of town was eighty eight.42% White, 0.47% African yank, 0.77% Native yank, 1.00% Asian, 0.13% Pacific inhabitant, 7.47% from different races, and 1.74% from 2 or a lot of races.
