It’s a comparatively tiny town that originally grew up on a railroad and currently grows on main road thirteen. Camrose may be a scenic community with several parks, resulting in its denomination “The Rose City”. Camrose offers a relaxed modus vivendi with an oversized population of retirees.
Camrose is usually referred to as the “Rose City” thanks to its great amount of park containing an oversized variety of untamed roses. Also, native rose sodbuster, Krauthead Twomey, bred and proprietary the attractive Camrose Rose to honour his birth place. This elegant tea rose boasts abundant pink blooms and rich green foliage, creating it the most beautiful flower in our rose beds Developed to stand up to the forceful Canadian province climate, the Camrose Rose was introduced to the town in 1995. It might be seen on show at the Bill Fowler Centre.
