Camp Sierra (formerly, Sierra Chautauqua) is associate unorganized community in Fresno County, California. It’s situated seven miles (11 km) nor’-nor’-east of Shaver Lake Heights, at associate elevation of 4534 feet (1382 m). The Sierra Chautauqua post workplace opened in 1918, the name was modified to Camp Sierra in 1924, and was enclosed 1935. The name Chautauqua is transplanted from ny State.
