Butler University may be a personal university situated in capital of Indiana, Indiana. Supported in 1855 and named once founder Ovid pantryman, the university offers sixty degree programs to four,400 students through six colleges: business, communication, education, bailiwick and sciences, pharmacy and health sciences, and fine arts. It contains a 290-acre (1.2 km2) field situated seven miles (11 km) from downtown capital of Indiana.
Butlers’s athletic groups vie in Division I of the NCAA and ar together referred to as the pantryman Bulldogs. On July 1, 2012, the Bulldogs can leave the Horizon League, their conference home since 1979, for the Atlantic ten Conference. Since the A10 doesn’t sponsor soccer, the pantryman team plays within the FCS’s Pioneer League. Butler’s women’s golf team also will stay outside the A10, as that conference sponsors the game just for men.
