Butha-Buthe is named after a huge and beautiful Mountain range Butha-Buthe, is a colonial town in Lesotho, located close to the South African border. Being a border settlement town, this place is mainly visited by many traders for cross-border business transactions. Founded by the ruler King Moshoeshoe I, in the early 19th century, it’s unban settlement in a vital trading post of the country. This district is a must visit tourist destination in the country.
