Brooksville could be a city in John Hancock County, Maine, us. It contains the villages of North Brooksville, South Brooksville (on Buck’s Harbor), West Brooksville, Brooksville Corner, and Harborside (on Cape Rosier). The surface of the city abounds with granite, and a number of other quarries were established. The soil could be a clay soil, that yielded wheat and potatoes. Buck’s Harbor, safe and deep, is one among the simplest coves within the region for tiny boats, and plenty of residents became concerned within the coasting trade and fisheries. By 1880, once the population was one,419, Brooksville had a porgy oil manufactory, 2 sawmills, a shingle mill, a planing mill, 2 gristmills, a wool carding mill, and a artefact and yarn manufactory.
