The Brooklyn Historical Society (BHS), based in 1863, may be a depository, library, and academic center conserving and inspiring the study of Brooklyn’ s wealthy 400-year past. Situated at 128 Pierrepoint Street on the corner of Clinton Street within the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, the big apple town it homes materials about the history of Brooklyn and its folks. These holdings offer exhibitions illuminating the past and informing the longer term. BHS hosts over nine,000 members of the final public at its exhibitions every year.
