Bristol may be a borough in greenbacks County, Pennsylvania, 23miles (37km) northeast of metropolis opposite metropolis, N.J. on the Delaware River. Bristol was 1st incorporated in 1720. though its charter was revised in 1905, the first charter remains in result, creating Bristol one in all the older boroughs in Pennsylvania.The population was nine,726 at the 2010 census. this civil authority is Joseph Saxton. the primary feminine civil authority was Margaret Stakenas electoral in 1979. From its earliest days Bristol was a middle of edge. With the building of the Delaware Canal and therefore the Pennsylvania Railroad it became a middle of transportation and a beautiful location for business.
