The religious leader advanced is that the collective name given within the U.S. National Historic Landmark program to a group of 2 homes in Salt Lake town, Utah. These homes were the residence of religious leader from 1852 till his death in 1877. As President of The Church of Jesus of present Saints at the time of the Mormon settlement of the Salt Lake depression, Young and his home were important within the development of the Church, Utah, and also the yankee west. The homes were selected as a National Historic Landmark in 1964.
