The Brice home is, in conjunction with the Hammond-Harwood House and also the William gnawing animal House, one in all 3 similar preserved eighteenth century Georgian vogue brick homes in capital of Maryland, Maryland. just like the gnawing animal and Hammond-Harwood homes, it’s a five-part brick mansion with an outsized central block and flanking pavilions with connecting hyphens. Of the 3, the Brice House’s exterior is that the most austere, giving its masonry specific prominence. the inside is additional richly elaborated, and has been attributed to William Buckland. The Brice House was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1970.
