Bragg Memorial bowl may be a twenty five,500-seat athletic facility in Tallahassee, Florida. It opened in 1957 and was restored in 1982. It’s home to the Everglade State A&M Rattlers team. Inbuilt 1957, Bragg Memorial bowl is home to Everglade State A&M soccer. The bowl stands in lasting memory of 2 of the school’s earliest figures in its storied extramural athletic program—the “First Family of Rattler Football”—the father and son combination of Jubie and Eugene Bragg.
Jubie Bragg was one in all the school’s 1st athletic administrators, being one in all the key figures within the soccer program gaining varsity standing in 1906. He came when a quick stint at town to become the school’s 1st head manager and athletic director at FAMU from 1923 to 1925 and once more from 1930 to 1932. Bragg’s son, Eugene, one in all the school’s 1st All-America gridders (1927), took over the reins of the program in 1934, employment through 1935, once a tragic automobile accident complete his life. Till the stadium’s construction in 1957, the Rattlers contend on a ley south of the field then on a grass field, 1st called Bragg Field situated on a hill directly behind this Gaither Gymnasium, wherever this track and field advanced is found.
