Braeside may be a residential neighborhood within the south-west quadrant of city, Alberta. It’s settled north of Anderson Road, south of region Drive, west of ordinal Street compass point and east of twenty fourth Street compass point. In 2006 the neighbourhood had a population of half dozen,182. As of 2000, 20.5% of the residents were immigrants. A proportion of ten.6% of the buildings were condominiums or flats, and 19.6% of the housing was used for rental.
In 2008 the neighbourhood had a population of half dozen,014, a 1.32% decrease from 2007, once the census registered half dozen,026 residents. There ar 2 looking complexes within the community, each strip malls. The larger advanced settled on region Drive is home to a Shoppers Drug retail store and a string of smaller retail and feeding retailers. The opposite facility close within the corner of twenty fourth Street and Braeside Drive is home to a pizza pie Hut edifice, a Tim Hortons, a KFC, a Subway sandwich search, and several other smaller retail and medical retailers, in addition as a community police office. Variety of convenience stores are settled within the neighbourhood. The bulk of land use is residential, however.
