Bracken is a village in Lone Tree No. 18, Saskatchewan, Canada. The population was 25 at the 2006 Canada Census. Bracken is named after John Bracken, Premier of Manitoba and Leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada, who was a professor at the University of Saskatchewan.
In 2006, Bracken had a population of 25 living in 17 dwellings, a -28.6% decrease from 2001. The village had a land area of 0.60 km2 (0.23 sq mi) and a population density of 41.9 /km2 (109 /sq mi). Students in Bracken are bused to Climax which has one school that covers Kindergarten through grade 12 in the Chinook School Division. Enrollment for 2006 was NA.
