Bowden is a town in central Alberta, Canada. It is located in Red Deer County, 45 kilometres (28 mi) south of Red Deer, on the Queen Elizabeth II Highway. Nearby communities are Innisfail (north), James River Bridge (west), Huxley (east) and Olds (south). Bowden also has a 9 hole golf course with a fully licensed clubhouse. The population of the Town of Bowden according to its 2009 municipal census is 1,236.
