Bourail is a commune in the South Province of New Caledonia, an overseas territory of France in the Pacific Ocean.This is a rural town of Grande Terre (Bush). The municipality is located in both the mountains and along the sea beaches are tourist but remain wild, they are a place popular with surfers.The beaches are open to all activities of the sea and the lagoon. At the spawning season, they host several species of turtles very guarded. On the beach of Roche Percee, crates are arranged in nests by volunteers to protect the eggs until they hatch.
