Borovnica is a settlement and municipality in the Inner Carniola region of Slovenia. It is situated about 20 km southwest of the national capital Ljubljana. The Parish Church in Borovnica is dedicated to Saint Margaret and belongs to the Ljubljana Archdiocese.
