Boonville could be a census-designated place in Mendocino County, California. It’s situated twelve.5 miles (20 km) southwest of Ukiah, at Associate in Nursing elevation of 381 feet (116 m). Boonville was based by John Burgots in 1862. The place was originally known as The Corners. Burgots designed a building, and in 1864 Alonzo Edward Kendall designed another building. The city became referred to as Kendall’s town. W.W. Backwoodsman bought a store in city and gave the place its current name.
