Bonifay may be a town in Holmes County, Florida, u. s.. Bonifay was given its name from a distinguished family that had a brick creating works in town, FL. Frank Bonifay, the person behind the town’s name, bought a stake within the LN, now CSX, Railroad. As W. D. Chipley connected the agricultural FL Panhandle, on the means he came up with names sure enough communities the railroad bisected. The population was four,078 at the 2000 census. in line with the U.S Census estimates of 2005, the town had a population of two,711 and in 2008 the U.S. Census estimates the population to be a pair of,780. it’s the seat of Holmes County.
