Bnei Brak is a City located on Israel’s central Mediterranean coastal plain, just east of Tel Aviv, in the Dan Metropolitan region and Tel Aviv District. Bnei Brak is a Center of Orthodox Judaism. Bnei Brak takes its name from the ancient Biblical city of Beneberak, which was located 4 kilometers (2.5A mi) to the south of where Bnei Barak was founded in 1924.
