Science is presented to the audience in a very simple and understandable manner using a variety of fun methods to explain basic principles of science. Children love this section since they get a hands-on understanding of the mysteries of science. Don’t miss the optical illusions in the science centre. The B.M. Birla Science Museum showcases India’s achievements in the various fields of science. The Archaeology and fine arts gallery has a unique collection of archaeological exhibits both excavated and collected, including excavations from Vaddamanu which date from 100 BC to 200 AD. You will enjoy the exhibits showcased at the stone sculpture gallery, wood carving gallery and gallery of miniature paintings. Visit the highly popular Dinosaurium – a unique natural history gallery with a good collection of smaller fossils, dinosaur eggs, marine shells, fossilized tree trunks etc. The major attraction here is the rare and magnificent fossil of a 160 million years old Dinosaur, Kotasaurus, found in Andhra Pradesh belonging to the Lower Jurassic age.
